Craig Driessner, CPA

Craig served his country honorably in the 82nd Airborne division, where he did two tours in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He then went on to The University of Texas at Tyler where he graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration, majoring in Accounting in two and a half years with enough credits to sit for the CPA Exam. In February of 2014 Craig began the CPA Exam and on September 18th 2014 became licensed as a Certified Public Accountant.

Craig’s background includes serving a s Chief Financial Officer for East Texas Border Health clinic, a not for profit organization. He has experience with governmental, non-profit, pay day loans, subprime auto loans, progress measurement for engineering refineries, retail and rent to own industry, financial reporting and analysis, presentation of financial statements to stake holders, tax, and forensic audit of contracts. He has served as a Controller for a $35 million start up retail rent to own company. He joined Max M. Wayman & Associates, Inc. in May of 2015.

Craig enjoys helping clients solve the problems they are facing whether with the Internal Revenue Service, their business situation, or personal situation. He provides support to clients in tax preparation, negotiation with the Internal Revenue Service, support of client during audits, suspension of collection activity, bookkeeping, general business consulting, and forensic examination.
